About Us
Powell’s Books Wholesale is a subsidiary of Powell’s Bookstores, Inc. of Chicago (we are not connected to Powell’s Books in Portland, Oregon). Powell’s Books Wholesale distributes primarily scholarly and academic remainders to the book trade only. Our computerized inventory has over 10,000 titles in a wide range of over 50 subjects, from African-American to Women’s Studies. We are also the sole distributor of Oxford University Press reprints in the United States.
